We have around 450 shops, where you can buy a wide range of goods, and also recycle items. We're always in need of stock, so please take the time to have a clear-out at home and fill a bag.

We accept a wide variety of items, including clothes, mobile phones, computers, homeware, soft furnishings, CDs, DVDs, books, toys and games.
Some items can only be accepted by some of our Age UK shops. For example: Electrical equipment Good quality furniture
There are a few things that we cannot accept as donations:

How to donate
Take your donation to your local Age UK shop during working hours. Please do not leave items outside the shop if it's shut.
Look out for an Age UK donation bag posted through your door. Fill it and leave it outside your home on the specified collection day.
If you have several bags of items and can’t drop them off yourself, call 0800 169 8787 or contact your local Age UK shop to arrange a collection. The more items you have, the more economical a pick-up will be for us, so why not ask your friends, family or neighbours if they have any items to donate too?
