The Advisor service is a free service available to anyone over the age of 55, and their family carers wherever they live in Suffolk.
Contact us through our Countywide Helpline 01473 351234 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try and answer your questions over the phone or by email. We can provide leaflets, information guides and forms tailored to meet your needs. You can also visit our walk in information centre in Ipswich to talk to us in person.
For information on any aspect of life, from keeping healthy and active to staying safe on the internet – we have a huge amount of information available that we can tailor to meet your needs. If we can’t answer your questions, we often know someone who can.
If you need to spend time outlining your situation or concerns to us and getting in depth advice you will be passed to the Advisor team covering your area of Suffolk. Advisors are friendly and knowledgeable and have good links with local service providers in your area. They can provide in depth information and advice to suit you, either:
· By telephone
· An appointment at a local Age UK Suffolk advice surgery
· Home visit (when appropriate)
In complex cases we may offer a home visit to discuss your requirements.
We can also help with the practicalities of living with dementia. All of our Advisors and our Information Helpline team, Information Centres and Advisors are able to provide assistance and free information guides to people with dementia and their families.
