Haven Activity Centre

Come and see the new Haven Centre at Broad Lane, Tiverton. The Haven Centre was officially opened by Tiverton and Honiton Constituency MP Neil Parish on 22 October 2010.

The Haven CentreThe converted building provides accommodation for a large day room and adjoining dining room together with a kitchen, office, toilets, an activity room and a therapy treatment room. The treatment room currently offers foot care, with a wider variety of treatments to be offered in the near future possibly to include hairdressing and various therapies.

The Haven Centre is managed from our Beck House Office, and also has the generous ongoing support from other staff and volunteers.

Some comments from our patrons

'I regard day services as my family.'

'I never sleep the night before day care because I am so excited.'

'Since attending she is a new person, her confidence is restored and is now able to do her own shopping and is more involved in her community. She said that it was due to the day care and the staff that helped her overcome her fears and regain so much self control and assurance.'
