Abbey Dash 2023

Yorkshire Firm LCF Law have organised a team to run the 10k Abbey Dash on Sunday, 22nd October. The team comprises of 13 members of staff and 6 friends and family. The team are running to raise vital funds for local charity Age UK Bradford District.  

The charity is close to the heart of staff at LCF, with two members on the board of trustees for Age UK Bradford District, Jennifer Lee and Jonathan Wright. 

Jennifer Lee, Associate in the Personal Law team at LCF Law, who was appointed to the board of trustees in 2021 said: 

“Every year we take part in the Abbey Dash to raise money for Age UK Bradford District and for the last few years I have organised our running team. The atmosphere is always electric and it’s such a moving experience running through Leeds city centre with thousands of other people, all sharing the common goal of supporting the charity and its amazing work.” 

Jonathan Wright MBE, Residential Property Consultant and Former Senior Partner at LCF Law, is Chair of Age UK Bradford District and has been an active trustee for several years. He added: 

“LCF is proud to support this local charity, which works tirelessly to provide expert advice, practical support and friendship to our older community in Bradford. With many facing an incredibly difficult time due to the cost of living crisis, its services are needed now more than ever so we would be most grateful for any sponsors to help us reach our fundraising target and enable the charity to continue its vital work.”
