Charity Record Fair, 12th June

Published on 27 May 2022 11:27 AM

Age UK Bradford District is to hold a charity record fair at Bradford's independent vinyl record shop The Record Cafe on Sunday June 12th, from 2pm until 4pm.

The sale is curated from the charity’s donated stocks of vinyl records and all proceeds will go towards supporting Age UK Bradford District’s work with older people in the area.

Visitors can expect to find a range of collectable music from pop, rock, blues, funk and soul as well as some records from vintage children’s TV shows.

The charity’s work is built around what older people say they need to live their best life and supporting them to have the choice, control and connections they need through Information, Help and Support, Advice and Casework and Groups and Activities.

Mark Rounding, Chief Executive, says

“It is great to connect with The Record Café to hold a record fair, making the most of our donated stock to bring the sale to the customers of an independent shop in Bradford. Fundraising this way also allows Age UK Bradford District to engage with more people who might not be aware of the work we do in the community.
