Age UK BRWF’s High Street Shop #WeAreOpen

Following reports in the local newspapers and on social media, it has been confirmed that 113 High Street (the premises for Age UK BRWF’s High Street shop) is due to go to auction next week.
Whilst we are incredibly disappointed about this news, given the nature of the lease agreement, we always knew that this was a possibility.
The High Street shop has been so well supported since it opened in January 2022 (which we really appreciate!!!) and the experience of having a dedicated furniture shop and high street presence has been invaluable with helping us to further develop our Income Generation Strategy for the charity.
We await the outcome of next week’s auction before confirming our next steps, but in the meantime ask that you continue to help us raise much-needed funds to provide local support and services for the over 50s by continuing to support the shop as #WeAreOpen!
