We’re proud to provide a peer support group for people who are living with early-stage Dementia or Alzheimer’s. This group provides the opportunity to:

• Make new friends who have shared life experiences

• Discuss how you’re feeling about your Dementia or Alzheimer’s diagnosis

• Ask questions about the support which is available

• Find out more about how other people are coping with their diagnosis

This is a safe space where people can be open and honest about their experiences living with cognitive conditions. We understand that the experience of a diagnosis is different for everyone, but having a space where people are encouraged to talk openly is invaluable.

When and where do sessions take place?

Our Dementia Peer Support Group is hosted at Maidstone Community Support Centre, 39-48 Marsham Street, Maidstone, ME14 1HH.

Sessions take place on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 11am – 2pm.

How much do sessions cost?

This group costs £5 per session.

Drinks and a sandwich lunch are included in this cost. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements in advance and we will work to accommodate you.
