More than 920,000 people in the UK are living with dementia – a number expected to rise to over a million by 2024. Age UK Maidstone Sevenoaks and Tonbridge is dedicated to making a difference. Our mission is to establish supportive groups that use cognitive simulation to enhance the well-being of those living with dementia.
Welcome to COGS: Dementia Social Club, where we extend a helping hand to caregivers through our drop-in/off service, providing invaluable respite. This allows caregivers to take a well-deserved break—whether for shopping, visiting the GP, or other essential tasks—while resting assured that their loved ones are receiving excellent care.
Our Cogs clubs go beyond respite, offering support to individuals facing memory challenges. Rooted in Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, our club is designed to engage members in purposeful activities, fostering an active mind.
Join us in promoting mental well-being through meaningful participation.
