2025 Volunteer of the Year

Earlier this month, at a Get Together Event for our staff and volunteers, the winner of our 2025 Volunteer of the Year Award was announced. Huge congratulations to Val Richardson (Providence Road) for being the recipient of this year’s award!

In selecting Val for the award Sue Davidson’s family (in whose memory the award was established) commented on Val’s ‘incredibly long-standing commitment’ to the charity - Val has been volunteering for the charity for almost two decades and has been supporting our Providence Road/ Sidemoor shop since it opened!

As part of this year’s award, there was also a special CEO Recognition Award for Retail’s Dave Hunt who was nominated by several members of the team!
