Calling local football fans to unite for #JustOneThing!

This Easter Monday Age UK North Worcestershire is calling upon supporters from Worcester City FC and Redditch United to unite to support its #JustOneThing campaign!

As part of the local derby at Sixways Stadium (6th April, kick-off 3pm), we will be setting up a dedicated Donation Station at the ground and are asking fans to bring along one quality item to donate. That one thing (a pair of trainers, a jacket, a toy model kit) will go to our charity shops, helping us to raise vital funds so that we can continue to deliver important services for the over 50s, including our free Information & Advice service and Befriending for those that are experiencing loneliness.

As matchday sponsor SJL Insurance Services' charity for the game, we will also be organising a Bucket Collection at the ground and sharing information about our local work.

With the support of local football fans, we can make this local derby day a day to help make a difference for local older people!!!
