About us

We're a local charity working in the community to support older people, their families and carers. We want everyone to be able to love later life.
Who we are
Age UK Scarborough & District promotes the well-being of all older people and to help make later life fulfilling and enjoyable. Whilst we are part of the Age UK family, we are a local, independent charity, and all money we raise is spent locally. We rely on the generosity of the community, funders, businesses and people like you to help us keep these services running in the Scarborough, Whitby & Ryedale areas. Our main office is based on Aberdeen Walk and we have a number of charity shops in the area. Go to the "Contact us" page, or click >here< to find us!
How we are funded
We rely on your support to keep serving the community. We are supported by donations from the public, income from our charity shops, and some charitable grants.
