Our Befriending service provides a much-needed regular visit to an elderly person who is lonely and feeling isolated. As a volunteer you will receive guidance and support from your Coordinator and will be matched with someone near to you that we think you will get on with and have interests similar to yours, where possible.
Befriending provides conversation and friendship and is rewarding for the elderly client as well as to you, the volunteer.
We provide specialist advice on a range of subjects including housing, welfare benefits and community care. Local Information Packs which you can download and print out can be found on our Information & Advice page.
We can offer a wide range of services to assist you in leading a fulfilling life.
