What does the role involve?
Many older people in Camden experience social isolation and loneliness. Our Telefriend Volunteers offer older people companionship and company over the phone.
What you will get out of it?
- You will be making a difference to the lives of older people.
- You will gain an insight into the issues that impact on the older people’s lives.
What is expected of me?
- You will agree to making a regular weekly call, without distractions to the person you are matched with.
- You will be able to make this call between the hours of 10 – 18:30pm.
