Digital Workshop Oct - Dec 2023

Age UK Isle of Wight, in collaboration with Isle of Wight College students, is delighted to announce the return of their upcoming digital workshops, commencing on the 31st October, 2023. 

Building on the success of the previous event, Age UK Isle of Wight and Isle of Wight College students have joined forces once again to create a unique opportunity for intergenerational collaboration. The workshops will take place at the Isle of Wight College, providing a comfortable and inclusive space for participants to engage in learning and skill-sharing.

Isle of Wight College students will act as mentors, offering guidance on various aspects of technology. From basic skills such as navigating smartphones and tablets to more advanced topics like social media and online banking, the mentors will empower workshop participants to embrace the digital world with confidence.

The digital workshops will run for a period of six weeks, with weekly sessions held at the Isle of Wight College commencing on Tuesday 31^st October 2023. Spaces are by booking only. Bookings are to be made directly with Age UK Isle of Wight’s digital team: digital@ageukiw.org.uk or (01983) 301693

Getting to the Isle of Wight College

The Isle of Wight College has free on-site parking, with disabled parking spaces for Blue Badge holders.
For those who don't drive, The Isle of Wight College can be reached by bus and a short walk. The buses that service the Isle of Wight College are: Number 1, 51 and N1. Buses from Newport come every few minutes during the day.
