Would you like to get involved?
We would not be able to do what we do without the support and commitment of people like you.
We have a range of different volunteering opportunities available ( including Befriending and Care Calls, Information & Advice, Footcare Assistants, Dignity Champions, Friendship Club Volunteers, IT Tutors/ Buddies, Activity Coordinator and Retail Volunteers) in addition to opportunities to support our operations and our Board of Trustees.
By volunteering with us you can make a real difference to the lives of local older people living in North Worcestershire and enable Age Bromsgrove, Redditch & Wyre Forest to continue providing services to support them.
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and support the work we do in the community.
Who can volunteer?
Almost anyone can be a volunteer. We have a wide range of roles and opportunities which suit different people and different skills.
How much time do I need to give?
It depends on the volunteer role you are interested in. Some people give an hour a week, other people do more.
What you can expect from us
A warm welcome to our team! We make sure that all of our volunteers receive appropriate training and that they have the ongoing support of a member of staff, we will also cover agreed out-of-pocket expenses for volunteers.
