Coronavirus Restrictions – Closure of Age UK BRWF's Charity Shops

Find out more about the closure of Age UK BRWF's Charity Shops following the latest lockdown announced by the Government (04/01/2021). Please can we request that people hold onto their donations and DO NOT LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE OUR SHOPS. Whilst people might think that they are supporting the charity, leaving items outside like this is classed as fly tipping and we may be forced into diverting funds into providing additional security measures to address the issue (rather than using our funds to provide support and services for older people). Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Donations

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - With our shops currently closed for lockdown, please can we request that people please hold onto their donations and DO NOT LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE OUR SHOPS.  Whilst people might think that they are supporting the charity, leaving items outside like this is classed as fly tipping and we may be forced into diverting funds into providing additional security measures to address the issue (rather than using our funds to provide support and services for older people).  If you are unable to keep hold of your donations until our shops can re-open, please contact us on 01527 570490 and we will see if we can try and make alternative arrangements for your items.  We thank you for your cooperation and support.

We always need donations of stock for the shops. Whether you’re just having a clear out, downsizing or are moving house, please bring us your unwanted items. Don’t worry about the quality of clothes, if we are unable to sell your items in our shop we can still generate income from them.

Volunteering at our shops

Our shops rely on volunteers for sorting stock, creating interesting window displays, and attending to customers. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please visit our volunteering page to find out more and how to get in touch.
