We run several charity shops across North Worcestershire, as well having an eBay charity shop, which generate valuable income to help us to continue to provide our wide range of services.
Important Information about our Matchborough Shop (10/10/23)
Apologies but, due to a need for building work, our Matchborough Way Charity Shop (Redditch) is currently closed. We thank you for your patience and understanding and hope to be able to re-open ASAP. Our Mason Road Shop (Headless Cross, Redditch) is open as normal.
About our Shops
- Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch & Wyre Forest has shops across North Worcestershire, in addition to an online eBay Charity Shop
- Our shops are a really important part of the charity, helping to raise funds so that we can provide much-needed local services for older people living in North Worcestershire
- Our shops sell a wide range of sustainable and affordable clothing, shoes, books, toys, electrical items, bric-a-brac and ‘vintage’ items as well as pre-loved furniture and homeware - if you are passing why not pop in, you never know what you might find!

Donating Items to our Shops

- We always need donations of stock for the shops. Whether you’re just having a clear out, downsizing or are moving house, please bring us your unwanted items!
- If you have any pre-loved furniture and household items that you would like to donate, we would really appreciate you getting in touch (we can offer a free collection service)
- Although restrictions have now been lifted regarding the acceptance of donations, please can we request that anybody that has several bags of items to donate first contacts their local shop and a member of our Retail Team will advise you when and where to bring your donations

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - When our shops are CLOSED, please can we request that people please hold onto their donations and DO NOT LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE OUR SHOPS. Whilst people might think that they are supporting the charity, leaving items outside like this is classed as fly tipping and we may be forced into diverting funds into providing additional security measures to address the issue (rather than using our funds to provide support and services for older people) - Thank you for your support!
Do you have any old or foreign currency?
Our Matchborough Way (Redditch) & Providence Road (Bromsgrove) Charity Shop are piloting the Cash4Coins service where people can donate their foreign and old currency to help raise funds to support our local work across North Worcestershire. If you have any currency, of any age, please bring it along and place it in the designated Cash4Coins Collection Tubes – Thank You!
Volunteering at our shops
