Mansell Street Women’s Group
Mansell Street Women’s Group is a social group for older BAMER women living on and around Mansell Street estate in Portsoken.
The project is co-ordinated by a bilingual support worker, Rahima Rahman, and offers:
- Monthly social group focussing on health and wellbeing (1st Wednesday of the month, 3-5pm)
- Zumba class every Monday 10.30-11.30am in Portsoken Community Centre
- Gardening, crafts, cooking
- Trips to places of interest, eg seaside, London Zoo

Eligibility criteria: members must be female, Bangladeshi-speaking, aged 45+ and living, working, studying or volunteering in the square mile.
