Truro School's Ongoing Support for Age UK Cornwall

Truro School has been a remarkable ally of Age UK Cornwall. Over the past six months, pupils and staff have volunteered at the Royal Cornwall Show, and got involved in raising crucial funds that will significantly benefit the local community.

We are thrilled to share that Truro School has done it once more, generating £1,642 during its recent non-uniform day. This impressive amount has been allocated to the Age UK Cornwall Hardship Fund, which assists individuals affected by rising living costs in accessing support services, local activities, transportation for appointments, nutritious meals, and essential items that many of us often take for granted.

More about Truro School

Truro School was founded over 140 years ago as a Methodist school and retains its ethos of seeking to contribute positively to the community it is a part of. At Age UK Cornwall, we are grateful for supporters like Truro School, who consistently go above and beyond to assist charities and local organisations in making a meaningful difference.

Everyone at Age UK Cornwall would like to thank pupils, parents, staff, and volunteers from Truro School.
