Volunteer Admin Assistant
We are searching for enthusiastic individuals, to join our welcoming Age UK Cornwall team and support us with General Office Administration, on a volunteer basis. Find out more and please apply using the link below:
Currently, we are seeking volunteers to join us at our vibrant community hub in Falmouth and/or our Head Office in Truro. You will be supporting our Active Living Support, Community Hub, and Hospital & Home services in Falmouth - and in Truro, you will be providing help and assistance to our Grants Team. We are alway happy to talk to you about any preferences and find the right opportunity for your needs.

Main Duties
You will be a key part in ensuring Age UK Cornwall runs smoothly and aid excellent customer service and sustainable delivery.
Specific Duties
- Filing
- Photocopying
- Support in typing letters
- Support our General Admin
- Data Entry
- Telecommunications
- Print and distribute Marketing Materials
Personal qualities most suited to this role:
- Reliability.
- Proven track record of good work (educational and/or professional accepted).
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Great interpersonal skills to volunteer in teams when necessary.
- Able to respect and maintain confidentiality.
- An understanding of safeguarding (training will be provided).
- Confident use of IT, especially Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of using outlook would be an advantage, (although training will be provided)
- Positive, can-do attitude with the willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
- Organised and reliable
- Able to show initiative and work unsupervised when required.
