The Memory Café is a relaxed, informal and free drop-in which provides support to people living with Dementia or memory concerns, and their carers or family members. The event is held in Faversham and provides a safe place for people to have a chat with likeminded people.

Hosted by trained staff and volunteers, the cafés provide a safe space for people to chat with others in the same situation, take part in games and activities, and gain access to useful information and guidance.

About the Memory Cafe

The café provides a safe space for anyone living with Dementia or memory concerns, and their carers or family members, to socialise and have a cup of tea with someone who understands. The sessions include:

- Information & Advice
- Guest speakers
- Safe spaces
- Fun activities
- Guidance
- Companionship
- Refreshments

The café runs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month from 10am-12pm, at Age UK Kent Rivers Centre, The Old Fire Station, Crescent Road, Faversham ME13 7GU.

Our highly skilled staff can give you information and help signpost you to other available support services.

You can discuss your own dementia diagnosis, or someone else’s, and think about what it means for the future. You can meet and learn from other people in similar situations and keep active, make new friends and feel more confident.
