Community Care Worker - Medway or Faversham

As a Community Care Worker you will be working as part of a strong team of carers who provide care and support to clients at their home. You will be assisting clients with everything from getting washed and dressed in the morning, to preparing a meal for lunch or tea, and assisting clients into bed of an evening.

Job Type: Permanent, Zero-hours

Location: Medway or Faversham

Starting rate: £11.44 per hour plus mileage and travel to/from calls paid (see benefits).

Requirements:

  • Empathy and previous experience of care work / working in the community with older people
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Own a smart phone
  • Must be prepared to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Community Domestic Worker - Medway

As a Community Domestic Worker, you will be providing an agreed level of domestic support to the older people that use our services, assisting with shopping and housework services including cleaning, cooking, washing up, laundry, ironing and pet care. 

Job Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday 9am-2pm

Location: Medway

Starting rate: £11.44 per hour plus mileage and travel to/from calls paid (see benefits).

CRS Care Worker - Medway/Kent

As a CRS Care Worker , you would be working with our dedicated Carers Relief Service (CRS) team, who support clients with Learning Disabilities by providing client-led activities within the community – which could include trips to the cinema, bowling, shopping, walks, gyms, snooker, social clubs and sit-in services.

In this Social Work role, you would be working as part of the team that delivers care and support to the clients using our support services, part of which would also include transporting our clients to and from their homes in order for them to engage in the activities of their choice.

Job Type: Flexible, Zero Hours

Location: Medway/Kent

Starting salary: £11.44 per hour

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities
  • Some knowledge of issues relating to people with Learning Disabilities and their needs
  • A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Prepared to undetake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

As a Community Footcare Assistant, you will be working as part of the homecare department, providing a basic foot care service to people aged over 50, within their own home.

Dementia Service Support Worker - Faversham and Sittingbourne

As a Dementia Service Support Worker, you will be working under the management of the Dementia Services Team Leader, providing support and assistance to older people living with Dementia both within the day centre and the community of Swale.

Job type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week 08:30-16:30)

Location: Across the Swale regions of Faversham and Sittingbourne

Dementia Coordinator - Faversham

As a Dementia Coordinator you will be working under the leadership of the Dementia Coordinator Team Leader at Dementia Hub in Faversham, providing support to people diagnosed with Dementia, or memory loss, their carers and family.

Job Type: Fixed-term (contract ends 31st March 2025), Full-time (35 hours, Monday-Friday 09:00-16:30)

Location: Faversham Dementia Hub

Starting rate: £12.62 per hour

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in the community with older people living with Dementia, their carers and wider family network
  • Experience of working within Health and Social Care (and with Heath and Social Care systems)

As a Support Worker, you will be working to support, where needed, the Dementia, Wellbeing and Hands2Help team, under the management of the Client Services Team Leader. You will be providing support and assistance to older people both within the day centre and the community of Swale.

Hands 2 Help Gardener - Swale

As a Hands 2 Help Gardener, you will undertake a range of gardening tasks, maintaining the gardens to a highest possible standard and making improvements where possible to help our clients to feel comfortable and safe in and around their own home.
