Community Care Worker - Medway / Faversham

As a Community Care Worker you will be working as part of a strong team of carers who provide care and support to clients at their home. You will be assisting clients with everything from getting washed and dressed in the morning, to preparing a meal for lunch or tea, and assisting clients into bed of an evening.

Job Type: Flexible, Zero-hours

Location: Medway or Faversham

Starting rate from 1st April 2023: £10.75 per hour plus mileage and travel to/from calls paid (see benefits).

We are looking for:

  • Empathy and experience of working with older people
  • A valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle is preferable, but we will consider walking staff
  • Own a smart phone
  • An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards
  • Must be prepared to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

CRS Care Worker - Medway / Kent

We are seeking to appoint a Care Worker to add to our dedicated Carers Relief Service (CRS) team, who would support clients with Learning Disabilities by providing client-led activities within the community – which could include trips to the cinema, bowling, shopping, walks, gyms, snooker, Day Centre clubs and sit-in services.

In this Social Work role, you would be working as part of the team that delivers care and support to the clients using our support services, part of which would also include transporting our clients to and from their homes in order for them to engage in the activities of their choice.

Job Type: Flexible, Zero Hours

Location: Medway/Kent

Starting salary: £10.75 per hour (from 1st April 2023)

We are looking for:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Holder of a full driving licence.

Day Centre Cook - Faversham

We are looking for a new Cook to join our passionate team, cooking fresh meals for our clients on a daily basis. Using fresh local ingredients, this role would suit any Cook/Chef looking for a better work life balance (as we only do lunch you could have every evening off).

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time: 15 hours a week, Saturday & Sunday 07:00- 15:00

Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hour

Location: The Fountain Centre, Crescent Road, Faversham, Kent, ME13 7GU

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooking daily meals for clients

Hospitality Supervisor

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills to take on the role of Hospitality Supervisor at The Clarendon Royal Community hub. This role is responsible for the oversight of the hospitality services including bar and restaurant.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time: 37.5 hours a week across a Monday - Sunday rota working shifts anytime between 09:00AM - 23:00PM. Please note that we do require flexibility for this role as working times may change when working events.

Hourly Rate: £14.58 per hour

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Hold a personal bar licence or be willing to complete to complete the course.
  • Bar supervisor experience – 2 years +

Homecare Team Leader

We are seeking to appoint a Team Leader with the passion and dedication to manage a team of care assistants providing personal and domestic care to clients in their own homes, in the Medway community. You will be working alongside 3 other Team Leaders to ensure our services are running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time

Hours: 25 - 30 hours per week across 5 days, working evening shifts of either 16:00PM - 22:00PM or 17:00PM - 22:00PM. In addition to this, on-call hours for an estimated 1 in 4 weekends (to be discussed at interview)

Hourly Rate: £12.39 per hour, plus on-call payments of £200 per week

Location: Medway, Kent

Required:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role.
  • An NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, a keen interest in starting the qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a care worker (with older people beneficial, but not essential).
  • Demonstrable ability to organise staff and other resources to meet Service User outcomes.
  • To hold a full driving licence and have the use of your own adequately insured vehicle (‘Business Use’ insurance).
  • Good communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the issues relating to older people as well as an understanding of the local care system, i.e. Social Services.
  • Must be prepared to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • A dynamic team player, able to work independently and as part of a team, responding to changing circumstances and adapting on the move.
  • An understanding of care planning assessments.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Good I.T. skills.
