The Great Winter Get Together

Age UK Salford are hosting an event for the Great Winter Get Together inspired by Jo Cox and to recognise her passion for strengthening communities and improving the UK’s response to the loneliness crisis.
The event will take place on: Monday 15th January 2024, 10am - 12 Noon at Critchley Community Hub, 75 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 4AF.

The winter period is a difficult time for many and our Great Winter Get Together provides a positive space where people can connect with others in their community.

Age Well in the Community
Age Well in the Community aims to reduce isolation in people aged 60 and over who may have become disconnected from their neighbourhood. This may be due to a life-changing event such as illness, bereavement, relocation into the area or as a result of the pandemic.
