Funding & Fundraising
Age UK South Kent Coast is an independent local charity, and we rely on securing our own funding to keep our services running.
We hold contracts with Kent County Council and work closely with Dover District Council and Folkestone & Hythe District Council to support older people across our community.
To keep our services going and to develop new ones we raise money from a variety of sources. This includes applying for grants, bidding for contracts, and fundraising activities throughout the year.
We’re incredibly grateful to all the volunteers who give their time to help us fundraise. Their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm make a huge difference, and we truly couldn’t do what we do without them.
We also want to thank the many trusts, foundations, and funders who support our work. Your generosity helps us provide essential services and meaningful opportunities for older people in the South Kent Coast area.
We are equally thankful for the generous donations we receive from people who use our services and from members of the public.
Every contribution, big or small helps us continue supporting older people in our community. Your kindness directly impacts the wellbeing of local people, and we appreciate every donation we receive.
If you’d like to get involved, there are lots of ways to support us.
You can join one of our fundraising events or even take on your own personal challenge. We’re registered on JustGiving, so it’s easy to set up your own fundraising page or make a donation to support the work we do.
