Memory Matters cognitive stimulation therapy group.
Who is this service for?
Our Memory Matters club is for people living with mild dementia or memory problems (you don't need a formal diagnosis to attend).
Members must be able to participate in activities, able to manage their own personal care and willing to join in with the group.
What happens at the sessions?
Memory Matters follows a 14 week programme of activities, stimulation, music and fun. The weekly sessions can continue for as long as the person can benefit from being part of the group.
Where do the sessions take place?
Memory Matters runs weekly on a:
- Wednesday & Friday 9.30am-2.30pm at The Marigold Centre, Folkestone CT19 4NS
- Thursday 10am-3pm at The Deal Centre, Deal CT14 6AG
- There is also a 2 hour session in Deal a Friday 10am-12pm.
How much does it cost?
£18.50 per day which includes refreshments and lunch.

Group membership is limited and sessions must be booked in advance.
