The Board of Trustees works in partnership with the Chief Executive to shape the charity's strategic vision and mission, providing oversight and direction to help achieve its long-term goals.

Bob Empson - Chair of Trustee Board
Bob Empson is Chair of Age UK Kensington & Chelsea with effect from 1 April 2022. He lives and works locally in Hammersmith and has had a long association with Kensington & Chelsea where his parents lived for nearly 30 years. Bob is a management consultant; he brings with him extensive experience of working with clients on strategy, governance and fundraising. He was previously a Trustee on the Board of the UK’s Stroke Association for 9 years until October 2020; for a time he was also a Vice-Chair (interim) of the charity. Bob has also been a Trustee of the Foundation for Assistive Technology. Bob is a keen runner and has already fundraised and ran for Age UK Kensington & Chelsea in the Royal Parks half marathon in October 2023!Bob says:
“I am delighted to have been appointed as Chair of Age UK Kensington & Chelsea. I look forward to working with staff and volunteers to build on the charity’s achievements in recent years, putting clients at the centre of what we do, and working in partnership with other organisations who share our ambition and values.”

Henry Wrigley - Treasurer
Henry Wrigley joined the AUKC Board in September 2022 and is the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. He is a qualified accountant and Insead alumni. He worked in corporate finance and then private equity investment with entrepreneurial businesses. After this, he has been Finance Director and Trustee for a number of charities and creative businesses, including a computer games business. He has lived and worked in Nepal, India, China and Malawi.

Pandora Wright - Trustee
Pandora Wright is a consultant geriatrician and physician at Charing Cross hospital, splitting her time between acute medical wards where she leads the older persons assessment and liaison team, acute general medicine and in the community, where she work directly with local GPs. Her special interest is in community and integrative medicine and care of older people.
She is a recent past president of the geriatric section of the Royal Society of medicine, and still sit on the council, having been appointed to the section in 2013.

Rebecca Harben - Trustee
Rebecca Harben leads the public fundraising team at Fight for Sight and Vision Foundation, supporting them in delivering everything from community fundraising to high-profile special events, epic challenges, individual giving programmes and everything in between. Rebecca has led events and community fundraising for charities and not-for-profit organisations for the last 13 years and loves the buzz of event day.

Daniel Misra-Jones - Trustee
Daniel Misra-Jones is a Finance and Operations Director who has spent over 15 years building household food & drinks brands. He holds qualifications in accounting, treasury management and personal coaching, and is experienced in facilitating corporate strategy and team decision-making. He has previously held a role as trustee for Peace Direct UK, and as a long-term resident of Kensington is thrilled to have the opportunity to join the team at Age UK K+C.

Caroline Dove - Trustee
Caroline Dove on graduating from Oxford University, joined the NHS management training scheme and has spent her entire career working in the NHS, mainly managing hospitals and hospital services, most recently as an Executive Director at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.Caroline became the CEO of NHS Elect in 2003. NHS Elect is a national organisation that provides quality improvement and leadership development support to health and care organisations across the country. Over the last 20 years, Caroline has expanded the NHS Elect programme to support 100+ NHS organisations and last year NHS Elect provided over 40,000 leadership development interactions with staff across the NHS, making it currently one of the largest providers of leadership development.
Caroline also works nationally to establish improvement networks which support clinical teams to innovate and improve local care for patients, including large programmes supporting better care for frail older people.

Meg Skinner - Trustee
Meg Skinner is a senior marketing communications leader with over 20 years of experience in the NHS and charity sectors. Working across the full breadth of communications, she specialises in delivering high-impact creative campaigns, content and collateral to drive forward business priorities and behaviour change. She currently leads the communications team at Barts Health NHS Trust, one of the largest acute trusts in the country. She is incredibly proud to join the board of Age UK, Kensington & Chelsea. -
Fergus Cass - Trustee
Fergus Cass brings experience in management, healthcare and charity governance. Born and educated in Ireland, he now lives in Kensington. He worked for 36 years at Unilever, the multinational consumer goods company, leading businesses in Africa and South Eastern Europe. He has held non-executive roles within the NHS, serving on the board of Kensington and Chelsea Primary Care Trust and the London Ambulance Service, where he chaired the Finance Committee. He is strongly committed to supporting the vital work of Age UK Kensington and Chelsea.

Sylvia Angela Sinclair - Trustee
Sylvia Angela Sinclair has lived in the South of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for over four decades. She worked in both Secondary and Primary care, in the North and South of Kensington and Chelsea as a District Nursing Sister until retirement. When she retired she joined the Community Champions at Chelsea Theatre. It was her passion for caring that made her join. She was registered with Age UK Kensington and Chelsea long before she retired, little did she know that she would be offered a post as a Client Trustee!"Age UK has always been my favourite voluntary organisation, because it cares for people that at times, society seems to have forgotten. The work and activities carried out in the community for the most vulnerable is insurmountable, it is an organisation that has not forgotten the services rendered by those now vulnerable who lack a voice in a world that does not prioritise them."

Jo Sensini - Trustee
Jo Sensini became an Age UK K&C trustee in April 2026, shortly after stepping back from a full-time career in PR. For 23 years she ran Velvet PR, a business-to-business agency that she founded. She now works part time as a PR and comms advisor to entrepreneurs in the creative industries.Before setting up her own PR agency in 2003, Jo worked in Tokyo in partnership with the European Commission as project manager/comms lead for the flagship EU export promotion programme, Gateway to Japan, which encouraged EU SMEs across 12 specific sectors (including medical equipment and healthcare) to export to the Japanese market.As well as Japan, she has lived and worked in Milan as a business trainer. She also spent a year in France, as part of her university degree in French and Spanish, teaching in a French lycee.Jo’s mum has been living with Alzheimer’s for 4 years and because of that Jo has very clear understanding of what it’s like to navigate a range of services on behalf of her mum, as well as the practical aspects of keeping her safe in her own home with dignity for as long as possible.
