More About Us

Welcome to our new Chief Executive

Jan Halliday

In May we welcomed Jan Halliday as the new Chief Executive. Here are a few lines from Jan:

It is a great pleasure and privilege to have the opportunity to work for Age UK Kensington & Chelsea. It is a time of great change for us all. I am enjoying getting to know you all - the charity, the staff team and the friends, supporters and partners of Age UK Kensington & Chelsea. I am overwhelmed by the camaraderie and good wishes that have greeted me; this is a great place to work, and more importantly makes a real difference to people’s lives. That has shone through in the short time I have been here. I want to make sure that we continue to provide high quality services that people need and want, and that our members and customers, get the very best help and support possible.

Will you become a Supporter?Supporters Group

Over the past few years our charity, Age UK Kensington & Chelsea, has grown. More services are offered and more people are joining as members and as volunteers.

Keeping it all going depends on donations large and small, so two of our trustees, Barbara Ilias and Moya Denman, have set up a Supporters Group. Supporters make a small, regular donation to the charity and pledge to tell their friends and neighbours about our work and encourage them to support us as well. We hope that some will also help organise fundraising events on our behalf. In return, you will be invited to special get-togethers to meet other Supporters, get updates on our work and know that your help will make a difference to the lives of your older neighbours. For more information on how to become a Supporter, contact Margaret Novell on 020 8969 9105 or mnovell@aukc.org.uk.
