We support people living with dementia or memory difficulties and their friends and family, both in groups and one-to-one. We also run education sessions on memory management and dementia for those wanting to know more.

Group exercise classIf you, or anyone you know, are:

  • Over the age of 55 
  • Living in Kensington & Chelsea 
  • Have a diagnosis of dementia or are worried about memory 
  • A family member or a friend of someone with dementia 
  • Want to know more about memory issues

We offer the following services:

Education and Awareness
Ageing Well: Informal sessions where we share tips on dealing with memory loss, play memory games and learn about dementia and healthy ageing.
 
Memory Courses: Structured courses on how ageing affects memory and tips for memory management, delivered by the Kensington & Chelsea Memory Service.
 
Group support

Men’s group: Supporting older men with dementia in RBKC but is also open to male carers and volunteers.
 
Young at Heart: Our Young at Heart group has been set up to support younger people with memory loss or a diagnosis of dementia. We meet every month.
 
Exercise for the Mind: Twelve week exercise course for people with dementia and memory loss. 
 
One to one support
Dementia Support: Weekly visits supporting people with dementia to pursue their interests, maintain independence and retain social contacts.
 
Dementia Advisor: Support for people recently diagnosed with dementia and their friends and family to navigate local services.
