About the role

This is an opportunity to shape the future of Day Opportunities across Northamptonshire and lead an exciting new chapter in how Age UK Northamptonshire supports people to live well.

About you

The Senior Coordinator will take our offer beyond traditional day services, developing vibrant, modern opportunities that people actively want to be part of. From expanding into new locations and creating programmes with community groups, to building partnerships and opening up new activities, the postholder will turn local ideas into meaningful experiences that bring people together.

A key focus will be reaching people earlier, from the age of 50, and creating opportunities that help them build the connections, confidence and positive habits that support healthy ageing. Through Flourish and our Age-friendly Communities work, the role will inspire a county-wide movement that enables people to stay active, connected, independent and involved in the communities around them.
This is a role for someone who can see what is possible, bring people with them and turn ambition into thriving, sustainable services that make Northamptonshire a great place to grow older.
