Age Concern Stone & District is a small independant charity based in Stone Staffordshire who are official friends with Age Uk Stafford  and District.  They were established in 1991 to support older people in the local community.  Operated entirely by volunteers the charity provides confidential help and adviceon issues including benefits, housing, energy bills, Attendance Allowance, Blue Badge  applications and other complex forms.

In addition to advice services Age Concern Stone & District run a friendly Lunch Club and friendship group, helping older people stay socially connected through regular outings and shared meals.  They also operate a volunteer car transport scheme, taking older residents to hospital appointments in Stoke, Stafford and Cannock.

The office is located in the Council Building on Station Road and is open Mondays and Wednesday mornings.

While we are both independant charities and provide a diverse range of services, we all share the same aim of promoting the well being of all older people, aiming to make life an enjoyable and fullfilling experience.
