Age UK Ashford offers a free and confidential information and advice service for older people, their families and carers.

Woman helping man with advice

What do we do?

We help older people in the Ashford area with issues ranging from queries about finding a local plumber to eviction and homelessness.

The vast majority of enquiries, however, are regarding benefit advice and assistance with claiming pension age and working age benefits, including Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit, Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support and more.

How to access the service

If you have an enquiry for our Information and Advice team, you can call the team on 01233 668765 or email us at info.manager@ageukashford.org.uk. Unfortunately however, we do not cover the areas in  postcodes TN30, TN17 and some of TN27. If you live in these areas you may wish to contact Citizens Rights for Older People  on 01622 851200.
