We are delighted that Nicki Stuart will be taking on the Beachy Head Marathon on Saturday 24 October 2026 to raise vital funds for Age UK Hythe, Lyminge & Ashford.

Nicki has set herself the fantastic challenge of completing the full 26.2-mile marathon, which takes runners across the stunning – but notoriously demanding – South Downs and Seven Sisters.

It is a tough challenge, and Nicki is under no illusions about what lies ahead.

In her own words, she says she is “not a runner, I’m a plodder”, but she is determined to take on the course and raise as much as possible for older people in our local communities.

Raising £500 for Local Older People

Nicki has set herself a fundraising target of £500.

Every penny raised will help Age UK Hythe, Lyminge & Ashford continue providing valuable services and support for older people across Hythe, Lyminge, Ashford and the surrounding areas.

Our local services include community meals, dementia support, day services, information and advice, social activities and companionship.

Funds raised locally help us continue being there for older people who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation, or who need practical help, advice and support.

Please Get Behind Nicki

We are incredibly grateful to Nicki for choosing to support Age UK Hythe, Lyminge & Ashford and for taking on such a significant personal challenge on our behalf.

Whether you can donate £5, £10 or any amount you are comfortable with, every contribution will help Nicki move closer to her £500 target.

Sharing her fundraising page with friends, family and colleagues can make a real difference too.
