Age UK Hythe, Lyminge and Ashford hold regular events throughout the year for fundraising, information and fun.
Most people come to Age UK Hythe, Lyminge and Ashford for the companionship, fun and opportunity to take part in activities.
All 3 centres have cafes serving refreshments, snacks and homemade cakes, so you can pop-in for a bite to eat, attend an activity of your choice or stay all day which includes a full two course lunch!
If you choose to stay all day we can provide door-to-door transport, subject to availibility, or just pop along to join the activity of your choice. There is a small charge for activities.
Our centres run the following social activities - please always call first to book on and check arrangements - 01303 269602.
There are no waiting lists for any activities - please feel free to pop in and give them a try. You will receive a warm welcome!
We also organise accompanied day trips and holidays.

Dementia ServicesWe offer many different social events to help people living with dementia to maintain their independence and their confidence. If you or someone you know is living with the condition and would like to join us, please do so; the events are entirely free of charge and you can be assured of a nice cuppa and a chat amongst friends. We also offer free information and advice and (charged-for) cognitive sessions and day care facilities. Fundraising is the bedrock of charity work; it is vital that we raise additional funds to help support the services we provide, but it also gives us an opportunity to give something back by showing the wider community what we have to offer in a fun and, sometimes, winning way!
