Digital Support Service to Receive National Lottery Funding

The Community Fund will enable a range of initiatives aimed at helping older people to get online and providing ongoing support, for as long as it is needed. These include tech drop-ins, one to one appointments, home visits, a device loan scheme, tea and tech sessions with corporate partners, and specialist workshops on topics such as Scams awareness, Safety online, Gaming and more. Our Digital Support service currently runs sessions in community locations such as Barbican Library, Portsoken Community Centre and Golden Lane Community Centre, free of charge. The funding will secure this valuable resource for the next two years allowing us to reach many more older people.
