Last autumn, Nicole Herridge, Age UK Cornwall Administrative Assistant at Falmouth Community Hub, set out on a remarkable journey walking across the three islands of Malta. This transformative experience motivated her to pen her first blog post on her coach's website.
You’ll likely agree that this is an extraordinary and inspiring achievement, especially given the hurdles that Nicole overcame, such as dealing with grief, loss, and health issues – is truly remarkable.
Nicole is also planning to create a film that may be showcased next year at the Poly Falmouth, contingent on selection. This project could even accompanied by an exhibition featuring art, photography, a Q&A session, and possibly even a book - we cannot wait!
Currently, Nicole is dedicated to establishing a series of regular talks to share her experiences, scheduled for one evening each month. Nicole has already held her inaugural meeting at the Falmouth Poly; she hopes that these talks will lead to other local adventurers taking up the baton - with a view to inspire more people to take on their own journeys.
