Cooking is something many of us take for granted — but not everyone is able to prepare their own meals at home. That’s where Age UK MST’s Meals on Wheels service can help.
Our service delivers hot, freshly cooked meals straight to your door. Prepared in our kitchen at Maidstone Community Support Centre, each meal includes two courses packed with nutrition and flavour.

What can I expect from the Meals on Wheels service?
Our service provides freshly cooked meals delivered directly to your home by our friendly staff or volunteers.
Many meals are delivered by the same person each week, which means people using the service often get to know their delivery driver. As well as receiving a nutritious meal, this provides valuable social contact and a friendly face at the door.
Meals are available seven days a week, so you can choose the days that work best for you.
Our menus run on a rotating basis and feature comforting dishes that our customers enjoy. Examples include:
• Fish and chips
• Casseroles
• Cottage pie
• Sausage and mash
Every Sunday, you can also enjoy a traditional roast dinner. Each meal includes two courses — a hearty main meal followed by a dessert such as apple crumble, fresh fruit and cream, or lemon meringue pie.
If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when you contact us and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Who can use our service?
Many of Age UK MST’s clients are aged 55+, but we understand that people may need support preparing meals for a variety of reasons. We are keen to support anyone within our catchment area who may benefit from this service.
We can generally support people living in Maidstone and nearby areas, including:

• Bearsted
• Coxheath

How much does the service cost?
A two-course hot meal costs £9.80 per person, including delivery.
You can also add a snack pack for £3.20, which will be delivered at the same time as your meal.
