Our Minor Adaptations Service provides practical changes to homes to support individuals in maintaining independence, safety, and accessibility in their daily lives.
This service is commissioned by the local authority and is delivered following an assessment of need
What can you expect?
Adaptations may include small-scale changes such as the installation of grab rails, handrails, Key Safe so carers can access your property or other safety features designed to improve mobility and reduce risk within the home.
Accessing the service
Referrals to the service can only be made by a qualified professional, such as an occupational therapist, social worker, or other authorised practitioner. These professionals will assess the individual’s circumstances and determine whether minor adaptations are appropriate.
