Did you know we’re an independent charity?
Many people are surprised to learn that we’re a separate charity from the national organisation, Age UK. While we proudly share the Age UK brand and work closely as part of the wider network, we are an independent local partner.
This means we have our own Board of Trustees, and we design and deliver services specifically for older people living in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Because we’re independent, we also raise all of our own funds locally to provide these vital services. Every bit of support we receive directly helps older people in our community.

All our staff are here to help you and have the right to work in a safe and secure environment. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE attitude towards violence, threatening behaviour or verbal abuse. This includes in person, over the telephone or in written communication. We will withdraw our service to anyone who acts in such a manner.

Our organisation has achieved the Age UK Network Charity Quality Standard (CQS). The CQS is externally assessed by quality assessment experts, BSI.
