Spread the Warmth

This winter 24,000 older people may not survive the cold weather - that's 200 unnecessary deaths a day. Make a donation today to help prevent this tragedy.

How we help Spread the Warmth

Age UK Bedfordshire is working hard to help older people keep warm and well throughout the winter in a number of ways:

  • Winter benefit checks to ease financial worriesSpread the Warmth
  • Handyperson services such as fitting drafts excluders and radiator foils
  • Hot nutritious meals at our lunch club
  • Befriending services for people who are isolated during winter
  • Shopping support for those with mobility issues
  • Information and advice support on keeping warm
