Painful journeys campaign

On the 20th October AGE UK launched a new campaign 'Painful Journeys' after thousands of you have told us that you or a loved one really struggle with travelling to your routine hospital appointments.

People like Connie (above picture), who wait for hours by herself after her chemotherapy appointments to be picked up and taken home by hospital transport, when all she wants to do is go home and rest.

Age UK Cornwall run a Transport service (TAP) that can help, this service promotes independence in the community and provides a safe, coordinated, cost effective solution for non-emergency medical appointments! Contact us here for more information
