When you play, you choose which participating local Age UK charity you’d like your entry to support. Your subscription helps fund vital services for older people, all while giving you the chance to win weekly cash prizes. How does the South West Age UKs Lottery work?
It’s easy to take part. For just £1 per entry per week / £5 payment per month, you will be entered into the weekly draw. Each week, winners are selected at random. When you sign up, you’ll be asked to select the local Age UK charity you'd like to support. At least 50% of your entry goes directly to that organisation. How much does it cost to play?
£1 per entry per week / £5 payment per month subscription paid by Direct Debit.
Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?
Yes, you are limited to 10 entries per week.
Why is it a 5 pound monthly subscription?
The lottery operates on a monthly £5 subscription per entry:
- £4 covers your entry into 4 weekly draws
- 34p helps cover months where there are five Fridays
- The remaining 66p is treated as a donation to your chosen Age UK charity
Over time, this ensures you're included in every eligible draw, even during 5-week months.
What are the prizes?
There are multiple chances to win every week:
- Match 6 numbers to win £25,000
- Match 5 numbers to win £250
- Match 4 numbers to win £20
- Match 3 numbers to win 2 free entries
How are the winners chosen?
The winning numbers are selected via a random number generator every Friday. Your entry is automatically included when your payment has been processed.
How will I know if I have won?
Winners are notified by email typically within 24 hours of the draw. You can also check the latest results by contacting our support team or visiting the lottery website.
How do I claim my prize?
There’s nothing you need to do. You will automatically be sent your prize by bank transfer, or you’ll be contacted if further information is needed.
How old do I have to be to play?
Players must be 18 years or over to play.
