As a local, independent charity, we are responsible for all our own fundraising and rely heavily on the support of local individuals, companies and trusts.


Making a donation

We are very grateful for all donations. Please make sure your donation is specifically to Age UK Hythe and Lyminge

Age UK Hythe and Lyminge can now receive donations by text. You can donate in multiples of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 and £10. Text AGEC10 followed by the amount you want to donate and send to 70070. You will receive a reply text saying thank you and asking if you would like us to claim Gift Aid. Please reply as it will cost you nothing but we can claim an additional  25% gift aid for every £1.00 you donate.


Please leave a gift for us in your will - you will be continuing to support our work beyond your lifetime. Charitable bequests are free of Inheritance Tax.

However you give, please use Gift Aid and make your donation worth more. If you are a UK Tax payer for every pound you give us we get an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue.

Help us raise funds for free when you shop online.  Shop online with over 2700 retailers and they'll give us a donation every time you buy something at no extra cost! Please register and you will be able to help us every time you shop.

Making a donation of used items

If you have any clean items of clothing, or other unwanted goods, please donate them to us. We can resell them in the shops in our centres. We can collect items from your home if you are unable to deliver them to us. No electrical items, please, as we cannot resell them.
