Do you want the reassurance of a wellbeing check but don't need a face - to - face home visit?

Age UK Leeds Help at Home Service provides wellbeing telephone calls, which are an alternative to face- to- face support visits. They are designed for people who require the confidence and reassurance that they have someone to check in on their wellbeing, but do not feel their level of need requires an in-person visit.

How much does this service cost?

Our Wellbeing Call service is £7.50 per scheduled call
Clients receiving this service are required to pay by direct debit

Who will deliver the wellbeing calls and what happens if I need further support.

Experienced staff from our Help at Home Service will deliver the 15 minute call and are trained to respond to any concerns about your wellbeing when delivering your call.

If you require a home visit to address a wellbeing concern this will be charged at the £27.50 per hour in line with the normal hourly rate for our main Help at Home Service.

Which areas of Leeds does this service cover?

This service is limited to the following postcodes:

LS4, LS5, LS6, LS7, LS8, LS12, LS13, LS16, LS17, LS18, LS19, LS20, LS21, LS28

As our service develops we may consider other postcode areas so please get in touch.
