How you can help

  • Donate to us

    There are many ways to help us support older people across South Cumbria, from one-off or regular donations to leaving a gift in your will. Your support makes a real difference, helping us provide services, activities and support that bring people together and strengthen our community.

  • Donate preloved

    We accept a wide range of donations, including furniture, clothing and electrical goods, with a FREE collection service for bulky items. Every penny raised in our shops goes directly towards supporting older people in our local community.

Scam Alert

Please be aware of hoax callers posing as a Door and Window security company who claim to be working on behalf of Age UK, Age UK South Cumbria, or Age UK South Lakeland. The hoax callers are claiming to check the elderly & vulnerable in this area for the security of their doors & windows and are trying to arrange visits to assess the recipient’s homes. The numbers that were used to make the calls; 01274 003 032 & 01274 003 352 are flagged as suspicious. The police have been made aware of the scam. Please pass this on to loved ones or anyone else who may be vulnerable to nuisance callers. If you have any concerns please report to the police on 101.
