Ready to glow, dip, and do something amazing? Join us for our Sponsored Glow Swim — a magical night-time open water swim that’s as fun as it is fearless!

This unforgettable event is raising money for Age UK South Gloucestershire, helping older people in our community stay warm, connected, and supported through the colder months. Every splash makes a difference

Glow swim details

Entry fee: £15 per swimmer
When: Saturday 7th March, starting at 7:00pm
Where: West Country Waterpark
The challenge: A night-time open water swim
Water temp: Around 8°C in March… chilly, but totally doable!

Age & Supervision

Swimmers aged 5–14 can take part, but must be accompanied in the water by an adult (18+) at a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children
Anyone aged 15 or under must have an adult clearly supervising them at all times

Raise Some Funds!

We ask swimmers to raise sponsorship for their brave (and brilliant!) effort. You can:

Set up a JustGiving page (we’ll email you simple instructions), or
Use a paper sponsorship form if you’d rather go old-school

Safety First (Then Fun!)

To keep everyone safe:

All swimmers must wear a tow float or a wetsuit
Both can be hired from the lake when you book
Everyone must wear a hat – swim cap or cosy woolly hat welcome!

Fancy a treat after your swim? Warm up in the sauna for an additional cost

Your Swim, Your Rules

This challenge is all about you. Swim as far (or as little!) as you like:

A quick dip and out? Still a win !
Go for 100m or 500m
Set a time goal, like staying in for 5 minutes

However you take on the water, it’s an incredible achievement.

Friends and family are more than welcome to come along and support you — entry is free.
There’ll be hot food, and we’re hoping for live music upstairs to keep the vibes glowing all night
