Eighteen of Our Lunch Clubs Have Successfully Restarted
Published on 18 February 2022 01:00 PM
In November of last year, we announced that we were beginning to restart our many social clubs and activity groups across the South Lakes, after they were put on indefinite hold at the start of the pandemic. Now, we are delighted to say that we have no less than eighteen Lunch Clubs successfully back up and running!
Our Lunch Clubs are a great opportunity for older people to enjoy some company and a freshly-cooked meal in their local area. Each Lunch Club meets on the same day each month, such as the second Tuesday of the month or the last Thursday, at a local pub, restaurant, or hotel. You can find all the details, including start times, dates, and addresses, by clicking the links below!

Alongside our Gentle Exercise Classes and other activity clubs like Walking Football and Men in Sheds, we now have more than thirty groups for older people active once again in the South Lakes, with plans for even more to start later this year! Many of these clubs are only made possible by the hard work and dedication of our talented volunteers in the community.
