Lynne Rushforth Retires

Today Lynne Rushforth retired after twenty-four years with Age UK West Cumbria.
Lynne joined the organisation in 1995 as a volunteer, before becoming a paid admin assistant just two weeks later.
Since then, Lynne has been our Public Affairs Officer, PR and Funding Officer, Personal Assistant to the Chief Exec and finally, Head of Governance. Lynne has had a great career with the charity, and even occupied the first ever full-time PR and media post outside of Age UK National in London.
Anyone who has met Lynne will know what a bubbly, knowledgeable and wonderful person she is. Her retirement is a great loss to the organisation, and her presence around the office will be sorely missed.
We would like to wish Lynne a happy and fulfilling retirement, and all the best for the future.
