Create a front-cover for our new Activity Book - win a prize and have your deisgn delivered to 500 homes across West Cumbria.
We are creating a locally inspired activity book to help older people in West Cumbria tackle boredom, loneliness and to help them feel connected to their community during lockdown - but we need your help.
We're asking members of the public to design a front cover for our activity book. This will be printed on all 500 copies, and delivered to older people's homes across West Cumbria.
Who can enter?
Anyone living in Allerdale and Copeland, regardless of age. We also welcome submissions from local artists.
What's the dealine?
Designs should be submitted by 12pm on Friday 22nd May 2020.
The winner will be announced the following week.
What are the specifications?
The design is entirely up to you, all we ask is that it:
- Fits the dimensions of A4 (210mmx297mm) without becoming blurry or compromising design.
- Is able to accomodate our logo
You can create a design digitally, physically or even submit a photograph. Just get creative and have fun!
How to I enter?

If you have created a physical design, please submit a scan or photograph of your front cover and keep the original in a safe place. We will ask you to post this to us if you're selected as our winner.
We do accept postal entries, however in light of the current restrictions please only use this method if an alternative is not available. Our postal address is:

How will the winner be chosen?
Designs will be submitted anonymously to a panel of Age UK West Cumbria staff who will pick their favourite design.
What's the prize?
Your design will be professionally printed and delivered to 500 homes across West Cumbria, you will also receive a special hamper of goodies (we're still working on this).
