Are you interested in exploring what the internet has to offer, but do not have the technology to do so?
If you do not own a device or own an outdated device, we can provide you with a tablet computer and an internet connection on a 6-8 week loan basis. This is a completely FREE service so you can explore whether or not using the internet is right for you.
We also provide tailored support for those who are not very confident about using a device, on a one-to-one basis. We are particularly looking to provide support for those who may be suffering from memory loss or have a suspected or confirmed diagnosis for dementia. We have got dedicated and expert Digital Champions on hand to support you to make the most out of the internet.
Through our tailored support sessions, our Digital Champions will guide you through the tasks that you want to do. Whether that is browsing the web, contacting friends and family through video calls, online shopping or pursuing your hobbies and interest. With this tuition and your FREE tablet loan, you are enabled to explore the internet in your own time at home.

Become a volunteer Digital Champion
A volunteer Digital Champion is someone who is trained and supported to inspire others to get online and can spend some time showing them how. You do not need to be a technology whizz, all you need is a willingness to help others, have confidence with basic technology use and a calm, patient manner.
