Access Barnsley is our dedicated wheelchair and scooter hire service, ensuring mobility and accessibility for all.
What is Access Barnsley?
Access Barnsley offers scooter and wheelchair hire services, facilitating individuals aged 18 and above facing temporary or permanent disabilities to access Barnsley Town Centre's shops and facilities.
Our dedicated volunteers provide assistance for those who require support while shopping. This may include escorting clients around town, facilitating transport arrangements, or even providing door-to-door service (subject to eligibility criteria).
We offer a selection of mobility aids for purchase, including RADAR Keys, empowering each individuals independence and mobility. Get in touch with our staff to discuss your needs and explore how we can assist you.
