The Elizabeth Activity and Care Centre provides a safe, friendly, and engaging space for over 50s who may need extra support, including specialist help for those living with health conditions, mobility issues, social isolation, or dementia.

What do we do?

Our activity programme takes a person-centred approach, supporting individuals to maintain existing skills while discovering new ones.

We offer gentle exercise, arts and crafts, music, sports, reminiscence activities, and more — all within a welcoming environment that we’re proud to provide. A tasty two-course meal and refreshments are included, with dietary requirements fully catered for.

Our centre is open Monday to Friday and also offers a shower service and support with personal care.

You can arrange a free trial session for yourself or someone you know.

Dementia Support

We also offer a specialist support day for individuals living with dementia, held on Thursdays from 9am to 4pm at our Elizabeth Centre.

What happens on Dementia Support Thursdays?

Our specialist, caring team creates a friendly and engaging environment, providing meaningful support for those attending, as well as valuable respite for carers. Personal care support is available where needed.

What can you expect?
A full day of cognitive stimulation therapy-based activities, thoughtfully tailored to individuals living with dementia.

Enjoy a delicious two-course meal and refreshments throughout the day.

Opening Hours

The Elizabeth Centre is open 9am–2:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9am–4pm on Thursdays.
